Informed by a series of interviews with PSI Staff, workers, worker-organisers and platform economy researchers from geographies including Africa, South Asia, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, this two-part article unpacks the global architecture of the platform economy, tracing its visible interfaces and invisible cross-border infrastructures, and suggests key frontiers for workers’ struggle for futureproofing the platform economy.
